Objective

Writing a paper that pertains to an issue in continuous mathematical modeling. I chose to write about the Lorenz attractor because I was interested in the butterfly effect that claims how a subtle event is amplified to a grander scale.

Description

I started off with minimal knowledge of the subject and eventually developed a better understanding as I progressed. I pieced up information from class notes and also researched academic journals. I applied document design conventions by breaking up sections into logical chunks to guide readers through the document; I introduced the article with an abstract, the problem (of the topic), the simplification, a mathematical model, and a solution. I appended graphics to support the result section. Adjusting the language for a broader audience also enables readers with an average level of scientific knowledge to understand the article.
